Answers to the questions we get asked most often about Isisa Healthcare’s home-based nursing and care services.
Home-based nursing means a qualified nurse or carer comes to you, so your loved one can be looked after in the comfort and privacy of their own home rather than in a hospital or facility. After an initial assessment, we match a suitable nurse to the patient’s needs and put a care plan in place. There are a few options: Day duty (9 to 12 hours), Night duty (12 hours), or Live-in care (24 hours).
Yes, we keep the same nurse on a case wherever possible for consistency and continuity of care, with a relief nurse stepping in only when the regular nurse is off duty or on leave.
Yes, if you have an authorisation and a motivation letter from the doctor with the patient’s diagnosis. You will also need to include a quote from Isisa Healthcare in your email to the medical aid.
We will provide you with a quote and documents for completion, and you will be required to pay a deposit.
